Hello, and welcome to my first attempt to the world of blogging. To start, I will tell you a little bit about myself.
I am now a stay at home mother of a 4 year old little boy and a 1 year old little girl. They will both celebrate a birthday next month, so it should be a busy one. I am also prior military, I served 5 years on active duty with the Navy. I met a wonderful man while I was on active duty, now my hubby, and we moved from California to Virginia. We had our first child and I was to be stationed on a ship for the first time. I joined the military knowing that at some point in my career that I would either be on a ship or sent overseas, however, I never knew how having a child would change how I felt. It was somthing that I could have never been prepared for. It was already very stressful for me with both me and my hubby to be on active duty, and to throw the added stress of leaving my brand new baby was something that I just couldn't bring myself to do. After talking it over with my hubby I decided to get out of the military and go back to school.
Since I was a service member I was able to get VA funding to help pay for my schooling and as long as I was enrolled in school full time I would also receive money to help pay for cost of living. I was no longer receiving my military pay, so going to school was my way to help supplement our income. It helped, but it was JUST enough.
I had an internet friend that had joined It Works so I started following her and asking her questions. Within a week or two of her joining It Works I also decided to join. I had the knowledge of MLM (multi-level-marketing) companies, but had not had success with the two other companies that I had joined.
Now, I am not one to talk bad about any company and I will not start now. I still have no issues with the companies themself, I just joined under the wrong person. I felt that I had a ton of support before actually joining the companies. But just after I had joined I no longer had any support. One of my leaders had meetings at her house and had asked me over to the meeting and told me to bring my phone book with me. The only thing that we did at the meeting was make phone calls to people in our phone books and ask them to have a party. Well... that just didn't work for me. I was, at the time, military, and we had just moved from my home state to Virginia. I had NO friends, NO local family, and the company that I had joined, my family had a local distributor already so they already had a ton of product. I am a firm believer that your first few sales will always come from your close friends and family, and in my case, my mom did purchase some items. But asking my friends to buy items that they really didn't need or want was hard. The economy was starting to go down so people were not spending money on things that they didn't need. Needless to say, I have a ton of product, STILL, and am no longer doing anything with the company. OH, and I didn't make anything from my venture.
The other company that I was in was very similar. However, I was just out of high school, so you can imagine my luck then. lol
I have learned that no matter what the state of the economy is, people will always spend money on making them selves look and feel better. I quickly learned that It Works had a number 1 seller and it really did sell itself. I joined the company before trying the product myself, but because both myself and my wonderful hubby wanted to try this "fat patch" that everyeone was talking about it didn't seem like a bad idea. Worst case I would have joined, not been able to do anything, and not lost out on anything but the initial investment. I didn't need to keep stock on hand nor did I have to ship out anything to my customers. This was a big bonus when trying to talk to my hubby about it.
I was amazed at how easy it was to apply this "fat patch" myself. All I had to do was take a shower, cut open the package and apply to the area that I wanted to tone, tighten and firm. After a short 45 minutes I was able to take the "fat patch" off and continue to look forward to all the wonderful benefit this product had to offer. It was very hard to believe that a little "patch" that I was to wear for only a 45 minute time frame would continue to work up to 72 hours after taking it off. I was SURE that after just 24 hoursf I was done seeing the affects of this product. I stopped taking pictures, and stopped drinking my water. My sponsor had contacted me at my 84 hour mark and had asked for updated pictures. Well, I was even more amazed to see the new results. I had acheived FAR more than I could have ever imagined. I have enjoyed every moment of this adventure ever since. I have grown my business and have used my previous MLM experience to help lead the people that are under me. I trully do care for the people that are under me. And when it comes to helping them out, I look out for what is best for them and their family. Not what would be best for me and how their actions will affect my paycheck. I know that this company can and will help everyone. Everyone just needs to give it a chance to make that happen.
